Anthropic embeds this video in its October 28 announcement of new artifacts for legal work. The announcement describes source-linked tools for tasks such as comparing contracts and tracking matters. This draft has not yet verified the full video, so it does not attribute a particular screen sequence or successful legal review to the footage.
The operational lesson: a dashboard needs provenance
For a fictional business reviewing a supplier renewal, the useful output is an accountable record: which agreement was used, whether amendments were included, where the proposed notice date appears and who checked the interpretation. A colorful board is not enough if staff cannot establish the executed version.
Ask a qualified reviewer to inspect the underlying clause and surrounding terms. A citation may lead to a real passage and still fail to support the conclusion. Keep extracted text separate from the legal interpretation and from the business decision to act.
Try a deliberately incomplete example
A proposed evaluation can include one known agreement and another missing an amendment. The expected behavior is to identify the incomplete record and route it to an owner. Filling every cell with a plausible answer would be a failure, not a productivity gain.
Name the person responsible for obtaining missing documents. Record the review outcome and keep final notices in the normal approval process. Do not infer that an artifact can send or approve a legal notice merely because it can summarize terms.
Access is part of the review
Confirm gallery availability, enterprise arrangements and any separate connector subscription before using confidential documents. Test sharing with approved material. A shared artifact should not expose clauses to colleagues who are not permitted to read the source contract.
This is operational commentary, not legal advice. Counsel should determine confidentiality, privilege and professional requirements. We have not measured accuracy or tested these artifacts on client agreements.

Source attribution, description and draft-preview playback were checked November 1, 2026. Automated audiovisual scene analysis was used; this was not a complete manual viewing, and it does not establish that every demonstration or claim was independently verified. Current official documentation was checked for the product claims discussed here. The fictional business scenario and acceptance criteria are our editorial analysis, not a customer result or hands-on product test. Vendor-promotional outcomes and performance figures are not adopted as measured results by this publication.
